‘I Believe God Made Me Go Back’: Delivery Driver Saves Woman’s Life

A supermarket delivery driver in Poole, England, Leandro Pinto Dantas, is being hailed as a hero for saving a customer’s life. When the customer, a woman in her 60s, didn’t answer the door for her groceries, Dantas trusted his instincts and found her unconscious on the floor. He called emergency services, and paramedics treated her for dangerously low blood sugar levels. Dantas went beyond his duties, putting away her groceries and visiting her in the hospital with flowers. The grateful woman praised him as a “wonderful chap,” and he has been nominated for an Asda service superstar award.
