Will Smith talked about his entry into the Christian/gospel music scene when his song You Can Make It was released.

The Oscar-winning actor has had a successful career in acting, but his love of music dates back to the 1990s with pop smashes like “Gettin’ Jiggy wit It,” “Wild Wild West,” and the R&B hit “Just The Two Of Us”.

Will has now ventured into the genre of gospel music, explaining that he was inspired to co-write the new song and hinting that he will be releasing more Christian-infused music soon.

Speaking on this transition, Smith says, “I was really talking to myself. To see so many people resonate with the intention gives me a clear North Star for this next chapter of my creative life.”
