After 21 seasons, the Dr. Phil talk show is ending.

“I’ve been blessed with over 25 wonderful years in daytime television,” said Dr. Phil in a statement. 

The show had to let go of 25 staffers last year, a signal of what would come later. 

The doctor does have plans to return to TV next year in the hopes of connecting with a “broader audience.”
