Weather Alert: Tracking Storm Damage Across the Area

Severe weather impacted much of the area Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.

The following is a list of storm damage:

Clarke County

  • UPDATE (4:36 p.m.): Highway 84 is reopened after fallen trees blocked both lanes.
  • Trees down on Winn Road near Berrys Chapel Road
  • Trees down on Zimco Road in the Grove Hill area
  • Trees down along Floral Creek Road in Clarke County

EMA Director Roy Waite said the trees down are not creating any issues for homes or traffic.
